Monument and Marker Styles
Flush/Flat Markers
Flat markers that lay flush to the earth, sometimes called “foot” markers because they traditionally lay at the foot of a grave.
Generally these are 2’ x 1’ however, they can vary in size.
We specialize in these types of cemetery markers with stock and custom artwork available. We also offer design matching for those hoping to duplicate designs on markers that are already in place on the existing cemetery plot.
Slant Markers
An option in between flat markers and upright markers, a slant has a slanted face usually with varying shaped tops. They can sit on a base or directly on the ground.
We are not able to provide slant markers at this time and would be happy to refer you to one of our excellent colleagues in your area to best assist you.
Bevel Markers
Also known as “hickey” markers, these are flat on the bottom with a beveled top where the back of the marker comes up slightly higher than the front.
These are usually between 6” - 8” high and can vary in size.
We are able to offer these markers with stock and custom artwork available, as well as design matching.
Upright Monuments
These are two-piece monuments (die/tablet and base) or a single tablet installed in the earth. They come in a wide variety of sizes, shapes, and offer the most surface area for lettering and design.
We are not able to provide upright monuments at this time and would be happy to refer you to one of our excellent colleagues in your area who can best assist you.

Design Digitizing
Share an image with us to explore the possibility of translating it to a flat or shaped carving for stone. We offer this for our own monuments as well as for monuments being produced in other shops.

Our custom artwork is inspired by early New England monument styles.
